Shit-the-bed, legendary West Coast American burger brand In-N-Out is back in London for the first time since its frankly bizarre one-day pop-up in Hendon four years ago. WHOOP! As it did before, it “announced” its pop-up in a local London newspaper - this time the Camden New Journal - with a pretty unassuming advert:
In-N-Out will be resident at the Estancia Brasil Steak House, 117 Finchley Road, London NW3 6HY for just four hours tomorrow (21 September 2016) from 11am to 3pm. Expect massive queues and a whole lot of burger nerdery. And seeing as I still remember the pain of being tied to my desk last time, you can bet your ass I'll be at this one. See you in the queue!
In-N-Out Burger London pop up
21 September 2016, 11am-3pm only
Estancia Brasil Steak House
117 Finchley Road
London NW3 6HY
Nearest tube: Swiss Cottage.
PS: I went to this and In-N-Out only catered for about 200 people. There was about 1000 people outside! They don't do these events in London to feed Londoners but to keep a hold of their European trademark. Allegedly. Anyway - who cares - the bottom line is that I ate nothing but left with a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I'll ever be able to think of In-N-Out positively again. Boo, hiss etc
